President and Chief Executive Officer
Scott Thompson is the President and CEO of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc., and also serves on the company’s Board of Directors. He was appointed to the position in Oct. 2008, having previously served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer since May 2008.
Mr. Thompson played a major role in the founding and subsequent growth of Group 1 Automotive, Inc., a New York Stock Exchange-listed and Fortune 500 Company with over $5 billion in revenue. He served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from its founding in 1996 until his retirement in January 2005. Mr. Thompson also served on the Board of Directors and as President of various subsidiaries of Group 1 Automotive, Inc., including Group 1 Realty, a $400 million dollar real estate operation.
From 1991 to 1996, Mr. Thompson served as Executive Vice President, Operations and Finance for KSA Industries, Inc., a billion dollar diversified enterprise with interests in automotive retailing, investments, energy and professional sports.
Mr. Thompson is non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Houston Wire and Cable (NASDAQ: HWCC) and also serves on the Board of Directors of Conn’s, Inc. (NASDAQ: CONN).
He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and is a Certified Director. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, and from 1980 to 1991, he held various positions with a public accounting firm. |  |  | Scott Anderson
Senior Executive Vice President
Mr. Anderson joined Thrifty Rent-A-Car System, Inc. as the director of international operations in 1987, primarily responsible for international growth and development of new Thrifty Car Rental franchises around the world.
In 1992, he was named vice president of staff operations for Pentastar Transportation Group, Chrysler’s holding company for its car rental operations, Thrifty and Dollar Systems, Inc.
In 1998, he spent 10 weeks attending the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard University. In October of 1999, he became Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Thrifty Rent-A-Car Systems, Inc.
Anderson was named Senior Executive Vice President for Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. in October 2003.
Mr. Anderson holds a bachelors degree in business management from Oklahoma City University.

Executive Vice President
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining Dollar Thrifty in October 2008, Mr. Buster served as Vice President & Treasurer for Helix Energy Solutions Group, Inc. from March 2006 to October 2008. Mr. Buster also served in various finance positions at Group I Automotive, Inc. from 1998 to 2006 including Vice President and Treasurer. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and from 1991 to 1998, he held various positions with a public accounting firm.

Executive Vice President
Chief Information Officer
Prior to his joining Dollar Thrifty, Mr.. Morris served in a wide variety of Information Technology positions, most recently for Capital One Financial Corporation – one of the top 10 banks in the U.S. – as Chief Information Officer of one of the company’s major divisions. From 1995 to 2002, he worked for UMB Bank in Kansas City leading various areas including electronic banking and commerce, IT strategy, applications development, data security and network operations. Morris started his career with Payless Cashways, a $2 billion home improvement retailer.
He received his B.S. and M.B.A. from the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Vicki Vaniman is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc., a position she has held since January 2003. She was elected to the company’s Board of Directors as Secretary in August 2007. She first joined the company as a corporate attorney and Staff Vice President in June 1992, working for Pentastar Transportation Group, Inc., the predecessor to Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. and Chrysler’s holding company for its car rental operations. When Pentastar was reorganized in late 1994, and employees were transferred to either Dollar or Thrifty, Ms. Vaniman was named Vice President and General Counsel of Dollar Rent A Car Systems, Inc. In 2003, she became General Counsel of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. when Dollar and Thrifty were united under a single holding company.
Previously, Ms. Vaniman was a Shareholder and Director at Tulsa-based law firm Jones, Givens, Gotcher & Bogan, P.C.
Ms. Vaniman completed her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma School of Law and has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.
